Tears of the saints

“My eyes shed streams of tears, because people do not keep your law.” — Psalms 119:136, ESV.

When we see others wandering aimlessly in life,
do we shed tears of hope,
praying that they will one day find the light?

When we see others lost in their search for God,
do we run to them,
and guide them gently to the Truth?

When we see a brother drifting away from faith,
do we draw close to them,
and point them back to Christ?

When you see that the Teachings of God is dejected,
do you cry in silence,
praying that the Lord will have mercy?

Will you cry to the Lord every morning,
for the strength to keep His statutes,
for the understanding of His Words,
and for the heart to know the richness of His Laws?

Father, open our eyes so we may see,
the goodness of Your Laws that were written for our righteousness,
and the glorious Truth behind Your Redemptive Power.

“With my whole heart I cry; answer me, O LordI will keep your statutes. Trouble and anguish have found me out, but your commandments are my delight.” — Psalms 119:145 & 143, ESV.
